Dutch Mill Leads the Industry in Supporting Government Health Policy

Dutch Mill continues to advance its health-focused business strategy in support of government policy while responding to the changing behaviour of today’s consumers, who are becoming increasingly health-conscious and more discerning in their product choices. The company is developing its products while building greater awareness and understanding of the “Healthier Choice” logo through its campaign, “Check the Label with Confidence: Choose Dutch Mill Products with the Healthier Choice Logo”, helping consumers make healthier choices more easily. The number of Dutch Mill products carrying the “Healthier Choice” logo continues to grow, increasing by more than 50% between 2024 and 2025. As a result, Dutch Mill Group now ranks No. 1 in the market for the highest number of products certified with the “Healthier Choice” logo.

Thailand’s Total Dairy market (Liquid Milk and Cup Yoghurt) was valued at more than THB 70 billion at the end of 2025, with Dutch Mill consistently maintaining its No. 1 market position, accounting for approximately 25% of the overall dairy market. Meanwhile, the market for healthier food and beverage products is growing faster than the overall market, reflecting opportunities arising from consumers’ increasing focus on preventive healthcare, their desire to reduce the risk of non-communicable diseases (NCDs), and growing demand for products with less sugar and enhanced nutritional benefits, such as high protein and probiotics. Dutch Mill aims to drive growth in its healthier product portfolio at a high single-digit to double-digit rate, maintaining growth above the overall market.

Mr. Jitpana Triratvorawut, Marketing Manager, Dutch Mill Group, said, “Dutch Mill sees changing consumer behaviour as an opportunity to develop products that better address health needs. The ‘Healthier Choice’ logo is an important initiative that helps consumers more easily identify products that support healthier choices. The programme is a key collaboration between the Thai Food and Drug Administration (FDA), the Institute of Nutrition at Mahidol University, and the Department of Disease Control. Dutch Mill therefore continues to develop products that meet the programme’s criteria, with the goal of increasing the number of products certified with the Healthier Choice logo to more than 50% of our total product portfolio in the future.”

Consumer trust in Dutch Mill is also reflected in the company being named “Most Chosen Brand” in the Dairy category at the Brand Footprint Awards 2026, organised by Worldpanel by Numerator, for the 14th consecutive year. Brand Footprint ranks fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) brands based on consumers’ purchasing behaviour, taking into account both the number of households choosing each brand and their purchase frequency. The recognition reinforces Dutch Mill’s position as a dairy brand that continues to be chosen and trusted by Thai consumers.

Ms. Worarat Chaisawangwong, Ph.D., Innovation, Product Development and R&D Manager, Dutch Mill Group, said, “Throughout our journey, Dutch Mill has grown alongside the trust of our consumers. What matters most to us is continuing to develop products in line with consumers’ evolving needs and health-conscious lifestyles. We therefore place great importance on continuous innovation and product development, from creating formulations that maintain great taste while providing appropriate nutritional value to developing new products that offer consumers a wider variety of healthier choices. We incorporate the Healthier Choice logo criteria as one of our guidelines from the product development stage, ensuring that Dutch Mill continues to be a brand consumers trust and part of the everyday health and well-being of everyone in the family.”

One of Dutch Mill’s key strategies for developing its healthier product portfolio is “The 4P Health Innovation Strategy”, encompassing four areas: Protein, focusing on high-protein products; Plant-based, offering plant-based nutritional alternatives; Probiotic, featuring products containing beneficial microorganisms; and Purity, focusing on products with reduced additives. Products across these categories include Proten, DNA High Protein, DNA Soy Milk, Dutchie Bio, DR-1 and Beanwell. Dutch Mill has positioned its 4P portfolio as one of the key growth drivers for the company’s future business.

At the same time, Dutch Mill believes that developing healthier products must go hand in hand with making them “easy to see and easy to choose” for consumers. The company is bringing this concept to life through the “Check the Label with Confidence: Choose Dutch Mill Products with the Healthier Choice Logo” campaign, featuring Num – Kanchai Kamnerdploy as the campaign presenter to broaden consumer awareness of the “Healthier Choice” logo. Dutch Mill is also introducing the “Healthier Shelf”, a dedicated retail space bringing together healthier products, enabling consumers to identify and choose products that meet their health needs more conveniently.

In addition, Dutch Mill hosted a panel discussion entitled “Promoting Health Understanding and Awareness among Thai People” to offer perspectives and enhance understanding of the “Healthier Choice” logo. Representatives from relevant organisations and experts exchanged insights on the health situation in Thailand and approaches to choosing healthier products, helping consumers apply this knowledge when making everyday product choices.

Dutch Mill continues to expand access to its products through its nationwide distribution network, spanning modern trade, traditional retail outlets, direct sales through Dutch Mill Ladies (Direct Sale), and online channels, including the “Dutch Mill eStore”, which enables consumers to order products directly from the factory. Products are delivered through a cold-chain system, with appropriate temperature control maintained through to the point of delivery. This provides consumers with greater access to Dutch Mill products in ways that suit today’s lifestyles, while supporting the company’s goal of making healthier choices more accessible to Thai consumers.
