“SSCC – Shop Global” Moves Forward to Build a Two-Way TradeGateway Between Thailand and China (Sichuan) Aiming to Open NewOpportunities to Regional Markets

Sichuan Supplier Chamber of Commerce (SSCC), a private organization comprising

manufacturers, exporters, and suppliers from Sichuan Province and neighboring areas,

has signed a Memorandum of Understanding on strategic cooperation for two-way trade

between Thailand and China (Sichuan) with Shop Global E-Commerce Co., Ltd., a

company under Saha Group. The partnership aims to promote the import of quality

products from China to Thailand and drive Thai products into the Chinese market

through business networks, trade exhibitions, business matching, and traditional trade

channels alongside digital commerce.

This cooperation aims to create a sustainable two-way trade ecosystem between

Thailand and China, while opening opportunities for entrepreneurs from both countries

to access new markets, create added business value, and develop long-term

cooperation.

Under this cooperation framework, SSCC will be responsible for selecting and

supporting Chinese entrepreneurs, coordinating cooperation with government agencies

and business sectors in China, as well as supporting the expansion of Chinese products

in Thailand. Meanwhile, Shop Global will leverage its strengths in business networks

and manufacturers in Thailand, together with its expertise in TV Shopping, E-

Commerce, Live Commerce, and Business Matching, to support the expansion of Thai

products into China and connect buyers, distributors, and business partners from both

countries.

Ms. Xiaolin Yang, President, Sichuan Supplier Chamber of Commerce (SSCC),

said, “Thailand is one of the high-potential markets in the ASEAN region, while Sichuan

Province is an important economic base in western China with a strong network of

manufacturers and suppliers. We firmly believe that this cooperation with Shop Global

will help connect entrepreneurs from both countries, open opportunities for quality

products from China and Thailand to access new markets, and lead to the development

of sustainable economic cooperation in the long term.”

Mr. Sorchote Ambhanwong, Chief Executive Officer of Shop Global E-Commerce

Co., Ltd., said, “This cooperation marks an important step in elevating trade between

Thailand and China, especially in connecting Thai entrepreneur networks with Sichuan

Province, one of China’s high-potential economic centres. We are ready to bring our

expertise in Business Matching and business networks under Saha Group to create

new opportunities for manufacturers, exporters, and SMEs from both countries, while

developing a comprehensive trade system that combines traditional trade with Digital

Commerce.”

Following the signing, both parties plan to carry out continuous joint activities, such as

participation in the 30th Saha Group Fair & Fest, participation in Sichuan Tea Expo,

organizing Business Matching and Trade Mission activities between Thailand and

China, as well as developing Cross-Border Commerce channels and the Shop Global

Sichuan Commerce Gateway project to create a more effective two-way trade

mechanism.

In addition, both organizations have set a long-term joint target to develop two-way

trade value between Thailand and China to 1,000–1,500 million Yuan, while laying the

foundation for permanent cooperation between Thailand and Sichuan Province in the

future. Further cooperation will be expanded in the development of the Thailand–China

gateway, the establishment of a permanent Business Matching center, expansion into

Live Commerce and Digital Trade Platform, and expansion into ASEAN and western

China.
